Lightning Finish 4th in Cornwall U14 ‘A’ Division

Newquay Storm U14s Finish Season In 4th Place

After a narrow 14-11 defeat against Penzance followed by a 19-5 win against Penryn, Newquay Storm’s U14 Lightning squad finished an excellent fourth place in the Cornwall U14 ‘A’ Division.

It’s a been an exciting season said Head Coach David White: “We’ve had some games where we’ve played brilliantly and achieved a really good result, then others where we didn’t perform as we know we could.

“Overall though it’s been a very positive season with lots of development from everyone in our U14 section and that’s the most important thing.

“We’ve got U14s playing in the Cornwall Senior League regularly now and one of them, Elsie, made her 1st team debut recently too so exciting times ahead!”
