Defeat for Tornadoes at home to league leaders

Newquay Storm Tornadoes 31 - 55 Galmington

Newquay Storm’s U16 Regional Team put in one of their best performances of the season, certainly in the first half of this game against the league leaders, Galmington.

Tornadoes were holding their own at 21-22 at half time. Unfortunately the 2nd half ran away from them but it was a good overall squad performance and a great way to finish, what has proven to be a tough Regional League season for the side.

But it’s been good experience for the team which includes three U14 players.

There is just one game outstanding which is a local derby away at Penryn. This game was postponed after a leaky roof earlier this season.
